Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps is coming home. Beginning November 5, fans can stream the newest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe exclusively on Disney+.

Set in a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, the film reintroduces Marvel’s First Family like never before. Directed by Matt Shakman, the cast includes Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). Also starring Julia Garner as Silver Surfer and Ralph Ineson as Galactus, this high-stakes cosmic adventure explores the power of unity, love, and responsibility.
Family Bonds, Galactic Stakes
This is no ordinary origin story; in Fact, it’s not an origin story at all. When Earth is threatened by Galactus, a ravenous cosmic god, and his mysterious herald Silver Surfer, the Fantastic Four must find strength not only in their powers—but in their bond as a family.
The story is both heartfelt and spectacular, balancing home life with heroism in a way that few superhero films achieve. Critics are calling it:

A Hit at SpaceCon and New York Comic Con
The film’s global announcement was made live at SpaceCon 2025 in San Antonio, where fans stepped into an immersive Fantastic Four experience—including a full-scale replica of the Baxter Building lobby. This pop-up event featured film sets, exclusive props, and interactive photo ops placing guests directly into the world of the Fantastic Four.
Earlier this month, the experience debuted to massive crowds at New York Comic Con, solidifying Marvel’s First Family as the MCU’s next big franchise focus.

Experience It in IMAX Enhanced on Disney+
When Fantastic Four: First Steps premieres on Disney+, it will be available in IMAX Enhanced, featuring the expanded aspect ratio and, for supported devices, IMAX Enhanced sound powered by DTS:X. This offers fans the most cinematic, immersive way to enjoy the film at home—no extra charge required.

Soundtrack by Michael Giacchino Drops Now Available.
Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino created the original score for the film, now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music.
A limited-edition 2-disc 12″ translucent vinyl album is also available at Disney Music Emporium and select retailers.
