After 20 years, the Jonas Brothers are back home at Disney — and this time, they’re celebrating the holidays with their new film, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. The movie premieres Friday, November 14, 2025, exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu, marking a joyful reunion with the network that helped launch their careers.
Coming Home for the Holidays
Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas describe the project as a full-circle moment. “We’re glad they’ll still have us,” Joe joked. “Twenty years later, we’re celebrating doing this together. Having Disney as a partner again is really special.”
The brothers’ Disney homecoming began earlier this year with the release of “Celebrate Happy,” the theme song for Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebration. In September, Disney Branded Television announced that the trio will executive produce Camp Rock 3 and reprise their iconic roles as Connect 3 — proving their creative partnership with Disney is stronger than ever.

A Festive Comedy with Heart
Produced by 20th Television, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie follows the brothers as heightened, yet relatable, versions of themselves. The story begins just 48 hours before Christmas, as they scramble to travel from London to New York to spend the holiday with family. Naturally, chaos and comedy ensue.
According to Nick Jonas, the creative team worked closely with the brothers to capture their real personalities. “We spent time sharing real road stories and inside jokes,” Nick said. “The writers turned them into these larger-than-life versions of us.”

Showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger — known for This Is Us — helped shape the story’s tone. “We listened to how the brothers teased each other,” Berger explained. “From there, we built dialogue that feels natural and true to them.”
Inspiration from Holiday Classics
The movie promises a mix of humor, nostalgia, and music. It features seven original songs, including a duet with legendary saxophonist Kenny G. Aptaker said the goal was to create a film that appeals to all ages. “We wanted something kids would love and parents would enjoy too,” he said.
The team drew inspiration from timeless holiday hits such as Home Alone, Jingle All the Way, and Elf. “We wanted that blend of laughs and warmth,” Nick added. “It’s a comedy-forward film, but there’s real heart too. It’s about appreciating the people closest to you during the holidays.”
A Star-Studded Cast
The film features an impressive lineup, including Chloe Bennet, Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, Randall Park, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Kenny G. Several surprise cameos from the Jonas family add even more fun.
“The cast was incredible,” Nick said. “Everyone came ready to laugh and just have fun.”
Disney Roots, Modern Magic
For longtime fans, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie is more than just a new holiday film — it’s a celebration of where the Jonas Brothers started. Aptaker summed it up best: “If you grew up with the Jonas Brothers, this movie speaks to you. If you’ve never heard of them, you’ll get to see why they’ve stayed so beloved.”
Our Thoughts
This film strikes a perfect balance between nostalgia and new energy. With Camp Rock 3 on the horizon and a Disney+ holiday movie filled with humor, music, and family heart, it’s clear that the Jonas Brothers’ Disney era has come full circle. Their story — and their sound — is as joyful as ever.
