World of Frozen opens March 29, 2026, at the newly reimagined Disney Adventure World, and the expansion promises one of the most immersive lands Disney has ever built. This is a fully realized Arendelle, meticulously designed by Walt Disney Imagineering to bring Frozen’s story, culture, and characters to life like never before.
A Fully Real Arendelle Brought to Life
From the moment you arrive, World of Frozen feels familiar yet completely new. The towering North Mountain rises 118 feet above the land, crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace. Below sits Arendelle Village, recreated with colorful Nordic-inspired architecture, authentic rosemaling patterns, and landscaping shaped by the Scandinavian environment that inspired the films. Imagineers worked with artisans across Europe, ensuring textures, building styles, and motifs match the visual language of Frozen.
Music plays a key role as well. A new symphonic reinterpretation of Frozen’s iconic songs flows through the village, guiding you toward Arendelle Castle, the Fountain of Friendship, and the shimmering Arendelle Bay.
Frozen Ever After: A New Generation of Magic
Frozen Ever After anchors the land as its signature attraction. Located beneath the village Clock Tower, this family-friendly boat adventure takes guests through scenes inspired by the films. The journey moves from snowy forests to the Valley of the Trolls and into Elsa’s glittering Ice Palace before ending in Arendelle Bay with snowflake-shaped fireworks.
State-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics, immersive projection technology, and advanced lighting techniques are all being programmed specifically for this version. Disney confirms that this Paris edition is the most technologically advanced Frozen Ever After ever built.
Songs, including “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go,” are supported by new visual effects and ride choreography.
Royal Encounters Inside Arendelle Castle
Inside Arendelle Castle, guests can meet Anna and Elsa during a Royal Encounter. The experience begins in the Portrait Gallery, lined with elegant Frozen-inspired artwork. After walking through the castle’s decorated halls, fans are invited to join Anna and Elsa for an intimate interaction and photo opportunity.
The experience feels like a personal visit with the Queens of Arendelle, supported by rich set design and thoughtful character moments.
“A Celebration in Arendelle”: A New Daytime Spectacle
The Snowflower Festival brings Arendelle Bay to life in a brand-new 15‑minute show performed several times a day. Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and villagers board three Viking longships, each crafted by French artisans familiar to Disneyland Paris.
Guests can expect immersive music, heartfelt performances, and a finale set to fan favorites “Let It Go” and “Show Yourself.” Kristen Anderson‑Lopez and Robert Lopez composed new music exclusively for this show, adding fresh melodies to the world of Frozen.
Olaf Steps Into a New Era
Walt Disney Imagineering unveiled a next-generation Olaf animatronic that will appear in the Arendelle Bay show and make occasional pop-up appearances throughout World of Frozen. Developed by Imagineering Research & Development, this Olaf features advanced robotics allowing unprecedented believability and expressive movement.
This breakthrough marks one of the most sophisticated character technologies Disney has ever introduced.
Meet Rúna: A New Interactive Baby Troll Experience
At the Fjord View Shop, guests will encounter Rúna, an interactive baby troll toy unique to Disneyland Paris. Rúna reacts to touch, blinks, moves her ears, lights up, and even communicates with other trolls.
She also interacts with locations throughout Arendelle, making her one of the most advanced souvenir experiences Disney has ever created.
Nordic Crowns Tavern: A Taste of Arendelle
World of Frozen’s quick-service restaurant, Nordic Crowns Tavern, invites guests to dine in a warm, rustic environment decorated with royal artifacts and Arendelle-inspired artwork.
The customizable Nordic menu offers 16 combinations including mashed potatoes or quinoa as a base, proteins such as grilled salmon or Nordic meatballs, seasonal vegetables, and sauces like tangy cranberry or creamy dill. Frozen-inspired desserts include blue sorbet, customizable vanilla ice cream, Nordic pastries, and snowflake treats.
Gluten-free and vegan options broaden the menu for all guests.
Arendelle Boutique: Scandinavian Craftsmanship Brought to the Parks
The main shop of World of Frozen features Frozen merchandise as well as handcrafted goods inspired by Nordic culture. Expect embroidered clothing, wooden sculptures, and items decorated with traditional rosemaling.
A themed postcard station allows visitors to send mail straight from Arendelle.
The Shops of Arendelle Bay
In addition to Arendelle Boutique, the Fjord View Shop offers Frozen-inspired accessories, festival makeovers, and of course, the exclusive Rúna troll experience. Together, these locations make shopping a world-building moment rather than a stopgap.
A Land Designed to Be Explored
Throughout the land, guests may encounter Oaken, Mossie the baby troll, and other residents of Arendelle. These roaming characters help keep the land alive, playful, and unpredictable.
With its blend of architecture, music, characters, dining, shops, and next-gen technology, World of Frozen stands as the largest Frozen-themed expansion ever created.
March 29, 2026: The Gates Finally Open
World of Frozen is only the beginning of the transformation coming to Disney Adventure World next year. This immersive land will redefine what fans expect from Frozen in the parks. Offering depth, detail, and emotion in a way only Disney can deliver.
