Planning Ahead: Everything Coming to Disneyland Paris in 2026

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to start planning a Disneyland Paris trip, 2026 might be it. Between a complete park reimagining, major attraction upgrades, refreshed hotels, and an ambitious new nighttime spectacular, the resort is clearly setting the stage for its next era. What stands out most is how intentional these changes feel. Disneyland Paris isn’t just adding new experiences. It’s refining what already works while building toward something much bigger.

Disney Adventure World Begins March 29, 2026

The biggest headline is the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World, officially debuting alongside the opening of World of Frozen on March 29, 2026. This marks a turning point for the second gate, shifting it from a behind-the-scenes park into a fully realized, story-driven destination.

World of Frozen will invite guests into Arendelle with Frozen Ever After, character encounters with Anna and Elsa inside the castle, and a lively daytime show staged on Viking longships. It’s the kind of immersive land that has been missing from the park, and it anchors the broader transformation in a very visible way.

Adventure Way and a New Nighttime Spectacular

Connecting much of this new expansion is Adventure Way, a landscaped promenade filled with themed gardens, seasonal entertainment, and 14 new dining locations. One of the highlights is Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family attraction inspired by Tangled that leans into whimsy rather than thrills.

Adventure Way also becomes the stage for Disney Cascade of Lights, a groundbreaking nighttime spectacular that blends drones, projections, fountains, pyrotechnics, and aquatic drones moving across Adventure Bay. With a 360-degree viewing design and an original orchestral score recorded at Abbey Road Studios, this show feels positioned as a signature experience for the resort, not just an add-on.

Returning Shows and Classic Experiences Getting New Life

Back inside the park, Minnie’s Dream Factory returns on February 7 with an all-new story built around creativity and teamwork. Minnie steps into a leadership role, joined by Chip ‘n’ Dale, Donald, and Daisy, all within a refreshed space featuring new lighting, costumes, and surprises designed specifically for Disneyland Paris.

Cooking Up New Changes at Ratatouille - The Adventure

Several attractions are also receiving meaningful updates. Ratatouille — The Adventure continues a major refurbishment that adds new scenic details, upgraded projections, and a story-rich queue scene set in a Parisian artist’s studio. Meanwhile, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is enhancing its queue with atmospheric props and narrative clues, deepening the story before guests ever step into the elevator.

Over in Frontierland, new scenes are coming to Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing by the end of summer 2026. Inspired by Marc Davis’ original sketches, these additions include newly crafted animal figures and a freshly refurbished Molly Brown riverboat, reinforcing Disneyland Paris’ reputation for detailed, character-driven storytelling.

Resort-Wide Refreshes and Dining Updates

Beyond the parks, Disney Village continues its transformation. The Sports Bar & Lounge has already reopened with a refreshed look, and early 2026 will bring the largest McDonald’s in France, designed with playful Disney touches. Casa Giulia, a two-story Italian restaurant, is on track to open by the end of 2026, while the Disney Store’s evolution into Disney Wonders continues.

Annette’s Diner Serves Up a Retro Refresh

Annette’s Diner will close beginning January 5, 2026, for a multi-month refurbishment that preserves its 1950s rock ’n’ roll spirit while updating the kitchen and dining spaces. Expect refreshed booths, a reimagined bar façade, and the same nostalgic energy when it reopens.

New Designs and Makeover at Disney Sequoia Lodge

Disney Sequoia Lodge is also set for a nature-inspired transformation. While remaining open during phased renovations, the hotel will gradually shift toward a design that celebrates forest landscapes and wildlife, echoing themes that were central to Walt Disney’s original vision.

Looking Beyond 2026

While 2026 is packed, Disneyland Paris is already looking ahead. Work is underway on future additions to Disney Adventure World, including the first-ever attraction themed to Disney Animation’s The Lion King and a family-friendly flying carousel inspired by Pixar’s Up. These projects reinforce that the 2026 changes are not an endpoint, but a foundation.
