With the new year approaching, it’s time once again to mark your calendar for one of my favorite seasonal events at Walt Disney World: the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Returning Jan. 16 through Feb. 23, 2026, the festival blends culinary, visual, and performing arts into an immersive celebration that transforms EPCOT into a living gallery.
As someone who spends countless hours exploring the artistic corners of Walt Disney World, the festival’s creative atmosphere always stands out. Whether it’s the Achme Archives showcasing Lucasfilm and Marvel work, or the unforgettable Disney Signature Artists bringing original ideas to life, the Festival of the Arts is the place where color, imagination, and storytelling meet.
The Artists Making Their Return in 2026
This year’s festival brings a lineup of new and returning artists whose work fills EPCOT with expression and inspiration. Here are some of the creators who will bring their talents to the 2026 festival:
Rosana Iarusso – New in 2026
Rosana Iarusso grew up in Mount Vernon, New York, and has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. Her early love of Disney—nurtured in a Snow White-themed room and endless viewings of The Little Mermaid—shaped her creative journey.
Today, she works as a Senior Character Artist for Disney Consumer Products, focusing on Disney Princesses, Tinker Bell, Minnie Mouse, and more. When she’s not designing Disney characters, she explores new artistic mediums. Her charm and character-focused illustrations make her an exciting new addition to the festival. Check out a sample of her collection on Tumblr.
Darren Wilson
Darren Wilson has spent 26 years shaping the visual identity of Disney Parks, Products and Experiences. As a Senior Manager of Graphic Design, his award-winning work spans feature films including Coco, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Pinocchio, The Lion King, and Aladdin. His bold designs and emotional storytelling continue to make him a festival favorite.
Yesenia Moises
An Afro-Latina author, illustrator, and toy designer, Yesenia Moises brings vibrant color and Afro-Fantasy elements to her work. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, she creates whimsical worlds that inspire young readers and art fans alike.
Dave Perillo
Illustrator and designer Dave Perillo channels a retro, mid-century modern aesthetic through his pop culture-inspired art. After spending his early career drawing for medical publishing, his creative spirit led him to comic conventions, galleries, and Disney collaborations.
Jerrod Maruyama
Jerrod Maruyama is known for his adorable “kawaii” style characters. A longtime contributor to Disney art collections, he specializes in creating heartwarming interpretations of beloved characters.
Dylan Bonner
Back for his sixth year, Dylan Bonner is an illustrator from Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose love for The Little Mermaid launched a lifelong passion for art. Since 2017, he has worked with Disney Princesses across comics, toys, consumer products, and fine art.
Josey Tsao
Los Angeles-based illustrator Josey Tsao draws inspiration from both real and imagined stories. Her work spans theme park concept design, animation backgrounds, and contributions to WonderGround Gallery. Don’t Miss Josey’s 2025 Festival of Arts Gallery.
