During Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, a nighttime projection experience transforms the legendary “It’s a Small World” façade. It’s called Tapestry of Happiness.

I happened to be there during the 2025 holiday season. At that time, It’s a Small World was transformed into Small World Holiday. That overlap created a rare, one-of-a-kind experience. You could only catch it during the 2025 Holiday Season.

Tapestry of Happiness is reflective and unhurried. It invites you to stop, look up, and take in the moment — and it felt like the perfect way to end a Disneyland day.
The Role of Music
Music sets the emotional tone for the experience. The soundtrack blends familiar Disneyland-style melodies with celebratory themes.
This show reminded me why I love Disneyland nighttime spectaculars. It celebrates seventy years of Disneyland by spotlighting classic attractions, honoring those now gone, and embracing newer additions like Galaxy’s Edge.
How It Fits the 70th Celebration
Tapestry of Happiness feels like a reflection on what Disneyland has been for seventy years. It honors where the park began, how it has changed, and why it continues to connect so deeply with guests.
For me, it was the perfect ending to a Disneyland day, and a reminder that some of the strongest Disney moments come from pausing and looking up.
