Banana Ball Is Expanding in a Big Way
Banana Ball is going bigger in 2026. Disney+, ESPN and the Savannah Bananas have announced a 25-game exclusive package this season. Every game will stream on Disney+ and the ESPN App. Select matchups will air across ESPN networks, including a first-ever national broadcast on ABC.
That makes this the largest Banana Ball distribution deal to date.
From 12 Games to 25
Last season featured 12 games across ESPN platforms. This year more than doubles that total. The partnership began in 2022 with the ESPN+ original series Bananaland and limited live coverage. Since then, the Bananas’ audience has grown across ESPN and Disney+ each season.
Now, 25 games will air from iconic stadiums and ballparks across the country.
The First-Ever ABC Broadcast
On June 28, Banana Ball airs nationally on ABC from Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. This marks the first ABC showcase in league history. It also signals how mainstream the Savannah Bananas have become.
Banana Ball blends baseball, choreography and crowd interaction. As a result, it fits neatly into Disney’s broader sports strategy.
Disney Parks Join the Celebration
The expansion reaches beyond television. On March 26, 2026, the Savannah Bananas bring “Savannah Bananas Day” to Disneyland Resort during their Angel Stadium matchup.
Then on May 29, 2026, Banana Ball heads to Walt Disney World. A game at ESPN Wide World of Sports will feature the Party Animals and the Loco Beach Coconuts.
These events connect live sports with Disney’s parks in a way few leagues can.
