Disney Experiences Announces Leadership Changes

Disney has announced a major Disney Parks leadership change as Josh D’Amaro prepares to become Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company on March 18, 2026. Thomas Mazloum will step into the role of Chairman of Disney Experiences, while new leaders also take over at Disneyland Resort, Disney Parks International, and Disney Consumer Products.

For fans, this matters because these are the leaders who will help shape Disney’s next phase of growth across parks, resorts, cruise ships, and global expansion.

Thomas Mazloum takes the top role at Disney Experiences

Thomas Mazloum has been named Chairman of Disney Experiences, succeeding Josh D’Amaro. In this role, he will oversee Disney’s global theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, consumer products, and Walt Disney Imagineering.

Mazloum brings a mix of park operations, hospitality, and cruise experience to the role. Before this promotion, he served as President of Disneyland Resort. Earlier, he led Disney Signature Experiences, where Disney says he helped shape the long-term plan that included doubling the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

For fans, this is the clearest sign that Disney wants an operations-focused leader guiding its next growth phase.

Jill Estorino moves to Disneyland Resort

Jill Estorino has been named President of Disneyland Resort after serving as President of Disney Parks International. Her resume also includes senior marketing and sales leadership for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

She steps into the role as Disneyland enters another period of expansion. Disney says Estorino will guide the resort’s next phase of growth while keeping the focus on guest experience, cast culture, and brand stewardship.

That makes her move one of the most important parts of this transition for Disneyland fans.

Tasia Filippatos takes over Disney Parks International

Tasia Filippatos will become President of Disney Parks International after serving as President of Disney Consumer Products. She will oversee Disney’s international parks, including Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort with Oriental Land Company, and the new Abu Dhabi park project with Miral.

Her appointment puts a brand and growth-focused leader in charge of one of Disney’s most important expansion areas. That makes this role especially worth watching as Disney continues to grow outside the United States.

Lisa Baldzicki steps up at Disney Consumer Products

Lisa Baldzicki has been promoted to President of Disney Consumer Products. She most recently led Parks Product Development and Retail, helping shape product strategy and retail experiences across Disney’s domestic parks.

Her promotion keeps someone with strong parks and merchandise experience connected to a business that plays a major role in how fans engage with Disney beyond the attractions themselves.

Why this matters right now

This is more than a routine leadership shuffle. Disney is putting new leaders in place as the company moves into its next phase of growth across domestic parks, international resorts, cruise expansion, and consumer products.

Fans may not see immediate changes from these appointments alone. Even so, these leaders will help shape how Disney’s next wave of experiences is developed and delivered.

This Disney Parks leadership change feels like Disney preparing for its next chapter.

Thomas Mazloum taking over Disney Experiences is the headline move, but the full story is how Disney has lined up new leadership at Disneyland, international parks, and consumer products at the same time.

For fans, that makes this announcement worth watching. It does not come with attraction art or opening dates, but it does show where Disney is placing its focus as growth continues around the world.
