Disney Springs Starbright Holiday It’s a first not just for Disney Parks but in the United States: A new holiday experience at Disney Springs featuring 300 show drones illuminating the night sky. In “Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration,” guests can watch Disney and Intel explore remarkable new technology.
The new holiday experience, “Star Bright Holiday,” features 300 drones or flixels, flying pixels, illuminating the night sky. The show takes place over Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs and is best viewed from the
West Side (Anywhere from the West Side boat dock, near House of Blues, to Starbucks along the lakefront). My video and audio are from the exit area of “Characters in Flight”, which you see on the ground in the video – it was closed for the show but opened immediately following. Why was I there? I arrived late after recording Jingle Bell Jingle Bam over at Studios, proving there is time to do both on the same night.
The show isn’t long, but it does set the stage for adding drone technology to other Disney nighttime offerings.
