Just one year after Disneyland Opened, Walt continued to leverage the power of television to promote the park, a trip through adventure land released in 1956 did exactly that.  The progress report is designed to bring viewers up to date on the adventure land section of Disneyland.  The focus is on the centerpiece attraction in adventure land, The Jungle Cruise.   The original televised special also included the True-Life adventure file, Water Birds.
