Anne Murray’s Disney World Special in 1991

January 6, 1991 – The Orlando Sentinel reported that Anne Murry would be at Walt Disney World to star in a one-hour Canadian television special. The special was to be broadcast on Canadian television (CBC) later in 1991. Anne would be performing at various locations throughout the parks. The musical variety show would include special guests Julio Iglesias and Patti LaBelle. The show was also featured on the cover of the February 24 – March 2 Sunday Fun Television Magazine in 1991, “Anne Murray and some cute cutups at Disney World.” In addition to Julio Iglesias and Patti LaBelle, Anne was joined by Andrea Martin, Paul Janz, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Mickey Mouse.  We look at the Disney MGM Studios, including the Indiana Jones stunt speculator and Pleasure Island.
