Originally aired December 8, 1976, Christmas at Disneyland follows “Gramps” and his two grandchildren, Gramps isn’t buying the holiday spirit and is set to leave the park when they run into a Disney Tour Guide (Sandy Duncan) who is determined to change Gramps mind and help him find some holiday spirit. Sandy Duncan, Art Carney, and Glen Campbell each play dual roles in this special, with Art playing both “Gramps” and a magician named Dr. Wunderbar. Sandy Duncan plays a Disneyland tour guide and Snow White. Glen Campbell plays a Disneyland cast member and Santa Claus.
The special features images from It’s a Small World, The Country Bear Christmas Hoedown, and highlights from the Candlelight Processional and, of course, Mickey and Minnie mouse.
