‘Coco’ Star Anthony González Reacts to Disney Cruise Line’s Upcoming Santa Cecilia-Inspired Restaurant

A new musical dining adventure is coming to the Disney Treasure Disney revealed Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship to fans. The announcement included a first look at some of the vibrant venues yet to debut on the Disney Treasure, including Plaza de Coco, which will be the world’s first ever theatrical dining experience themed to the Pixar film, “Coco.”

In anticipation of the new restaurant, Disney Parks caught up with “Coco” star Anthony González to capture his reaction to the news. Anthony shares his excitement for guests to see their favorite characters from the film. Check it out below!

At Plaza de Coco, the story of Miguel and his familia will continue where it left off as they gather in Mariachi Plaza in the fictional town of Santa Cecilia. The restaurant will offer two distinct nights of live entertainment featuring beloved characters and favorite songs from the film.

On the first night, guests will be invited to embark on a colorful journey that brings families together through music alongside Miguel, Abuelita Elena and Miguel’s parents, Enrique and Luisa. And on the second night, Miguel will reunite with his great-great grandparents, Hector and Mama Imelda, by transporting them to Santa Cecilia with the help of his magic guitar for a Día de los Muertos celebration.
