The Disney Family Album
The Disney Family Album was a television documentary series that originally aired on The Disney Channel from 1984 to 1986. Spanning 20 episodes, the series provided a rare and personal look at the animators, Imagineers, musicians, voice actors, and storytellers who shaped Disney’s legacy.
Each 30-minute episode focused on a legendary Disney figure, many of whom worked directly with Walt Disney. The series covered Seven of Walt Disney’s Nine Old Men, the creative forces behind classic films and attractions, and industry pioneers who brought iconic characters to life.
Narrated by Disney Legend Buddy Ebsen, The Disney Family Album serves as a time capsule of Disney history. It offers a nostalgic and insightful glimpse into the dedication, innovation, and artistry that built Disney animation, live-action films, theme parks, and beyond.
