Epcot Forever Fireworks Light Up the Sky Catch the Premier from (2021)

On October 1, 2019, Epcot Forever premiered as a spectacular nighttime fireworks show at Walt Disney World’s Epcot. Designed as an interim show between IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and its highly anticipated replacement, Harmonious, Epcot Forever honors the park’s rich musical legacy spanning over 37 years.

The show made its grand return on July 1, 2021, after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the post-return version excluded the flying kites from its original run, it introduced a new backdrop featuring the large Harmonious barges that now sit in the center of World Showcase Lagoon.

Celebrating Epcot’s Musical Legacy

Disney describes Epcot Forever as a story of the park’s past, present, and exciting future. This tribute performance uses dazzling fireworks, laser effects, lighting enhancements, and a powerful musical score. The soundtrack is a nostalgic mix of original Epcot attraction themes and modern reinterpretations, bridging generations of fans.
