New Neighborhoods: One Unified Vision
Epcot is now unified into four immersive neighborhoods, each representing a key theme:
World Celebration – A vibrant central hub filled with gardens, storytelling, and Walt’s legacy.
World Discovery – The place for thrill rides, science, and intergalactic exploration.
World Nature – A space honoring the beauty and balance of the planet.
World Showcase – The heart of global culture, cuisine, and tradition.
These areas blend storytelling with innovation, inviting guests to explore the real and the fantastic together.
CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, a multi-use facility and outdoor event space, respectively, in the center of EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., will have the flexibility to host intimate musical performances that extend out into the nearby gardens, as well as large-scale concerts. World Celebration: Heart of the Park
The World Celebration neighborhood transforms Epcot’s central spine into a lush, dynamic experience.
At night, Spaceship Earth becomes a Beacon of Magic, glowing with connected lights that evoke starlight.
Connections Café & Eatery offers a new space for quick service dining and features a massive mural highlighting food around the globe.
Creations Shop and a refreshed Club Cool bring shopping and tasting experiences into a modern, open-concept layout.
Dreamers Pointis set to debut a statue of Walt Disney, surrounded by gardens and views that reflect his optimism.
World Discovery: Big Ideas and Big Thrills
This area brings storytelling to the stars.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which opened May 27, 2022, is one of the world’s longest indoor coasters. The ride features a rotating vehicle and Disney’s first reverse launch. Guests chase down Eson the Celestial in an adventure through time and space.
Nearby, Space 220 Restaurant transports diners to an orbiting space station. Guests take a space elevator 220 miles above Earth to enjoy intergalactic cuisine. This experience is not only immersive but also visually stunning.
Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is undergoing a historic transformation, bringing the next generation of immersive storytelling to life through a plethora of new attractions and experiences. The park’s entrance will be transformed with a reimagined fountain, new pathways, and sweeping green spaces that beautify the entryway while paying homage to the origins of Epcot.
