Each winter, the Disneyland Resort transforms into a festive wonderland filled with twinkling lights, characters, and a celebration of traditions old and new. Holidays at Disneyland Resort return from November 14, 2025, through January 7, 2026, bringing with them seasonal favorites and a continued celebration of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary.
Mickey & Friends Debut Holiday Looks
In honor of the park’s milestone year, Mickey, Minnie, and friends will sport cheerful new holiday outfits inspired by their 70th anniversary attire. These glimmering ensembles feature a festive palette of reds, greens, and golds, adding a magical sparkle to their holiday appearances.
Wintertime Cheer at Disneyland Park
Sleeping Beauty Castle will once again become a snowy spectacle during Wintertime Enchantment, glowing with 80,000 lights and nightly magical “snowfall.” The “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks return, lighting up the skies above Main Street, U.S.A., with synchronized flurries around the park.
Be sure to catch the A Christmas Fantasy Parade, featuring dancing gingerbread, Disney favorites, and marching toy soldiers. For up-close viewing, grab a spot near “it’s a small world” Holiday or along the Matterhorn parade route. Or, book the Holiday Time at Disneyland Guided Tour for reserved seating.
And back again this year is Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends! at Fantasyland Theatre, offering crafts, sing-alongs, and character greetings with Santa and beloved Disney friends.
Disney California Adventure Sparkles with Festivities
Cars Land revs up the holiday spirit with glowing wreaths, decorated cones, and a must-see nightly neon lighting moment to the tune of “Sh-Boom.” Guests can also try the all-new Jerry’s Junk Truck Cone treat at Cozy Cone Motel.
The park also hosts the fan-favorite Disney Festival of Holidays, a multicultural celebration of food, music, and traditions. With a Sip and Savor Pass, guests can sample culinary delights like braised pork belly adobo and explore Festive Food Marketplaces scattered throughout the park.
Don’t miss lively performances from Holiday Toy Drummers or the upbeat Mickey’s Happy Holidays cavalcade, featuring Disney and Pixar characters. And on select days, Mirabel from Encanto takes center stage for interactive performances and meet-and-greets.
Celebrate Latin Traditions with Disney ¡Viva Navidad!
Returning to Paradise Gardens Park, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! brings Latin American culture to life through music, dancing, colorful decorations, and flavorful dishes. Mickey, Minnie, and The Three Caballeros join in the festivities, culminating in the high-energy ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party led by folklórico dancers, samba musicians, and mariachis.
Festive Fun at the Disneyland Resort Hotels
The magic continues at all three Disneyland Resort hotels, where holiday décor, carolers, and character dining create seasonal memories. This year welcomes Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast and Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party at Storytellers Cafe, plus returning favorites like Goofy’s Kitchen Holiday Celebration and Holiday Tea with Santa at Hearthstone Lounge.
Adults can relax at the Broken Spell Lounge with festive cocktails and live jazz, or indulge in the Underneath the Tree massage at Tenaya Stone Spa. Overnight guests can also enjoy early entry perks and savings of up to 20% on select stays from August 17 to December 19, 2025.
Downtown Disney District Holiday Highlights
The Downtown Disney District is bursting with yuletide cheer, featuring nightly snowfall, seasonal snacks, and live performances on the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage. Guests can also join Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail, a family-friendly scavenger hunt offering a keepsake reward.
Holiday Merch, Eats & Anniversary Magic
Don’t leave without checking out the Mickey Mouse Family Christmas Collection, filled with nostalgic apparel, home decor, and themed souvenirs. Limited-time treats like the peppermint cold brew and Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookie are also back.
Even with the holidays in full swing, Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary shines on with World of Color: Happiness! and Tapestry of Happiness projections continuing through the season. Although some offerings, like Paint the Night, will pause for now. Many interactive elements, such as MagicBand+ stations and photo spots, remain available.
