A Magical Walk-Through Experience
Adventure is calling! Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, will make its splashing debut at Epcot on Oct. 16, 2023. This new walk-through attraction invites guests to interact with water magically, much like Moana did in the Disney film.
Explore Interactive Water Features
As you explore World Nature’s lush, landscaped trails, you’ll find playful water features waiting to greet you. Wave hello, give a high five, or feel the refreshing splash of a crashing wave—every turn offers a chance to engage with water’s playful spirit. Along the way, keep your eyes open for sculpted characters hidden in the rocks, including Hei Hei, Pua, and Moana herself.
Choose Your Adventure: Wet or Dry Paths
This self-guided experience offers both wet and dry paths, allowing guests of all ages to choose their level of splash adventure. Learn about the water cycle and how water connects us all as you journey through rain, streams, and oceans. The trail also features a stunning Te Fiti topiary and incredible Spaceship Earth views.
Meet Moana in World Nature
Starting Oct. 16, Moana will meet guests across from the attraction in a new dedicated space, welcoming fellow voyagers for photos and greetings.
Part of Epcot’s Transformation and Disney100 Celebration
Journey of Water is part of Epcot’s multi-year transformation, bringing new opportunities to connect with nature and each other. It debuts during the Disney100 celebration, honoring 100 years of Disney magic and storytelling. Special offerings will be available throughout Epcot from Sept. 22 to Dec. 31, 2023.
