In December 1986, pilots Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager completed the first nonstop, unrefueled flight around the globe. During a celebratory lunch with then-Disney CEO Michael Eisner, they were asked, “What are you going to do next?” Their response: “We’re going to Disneyland!” And a timeless tradition was born.
