At a young age, Tiana discovered her passion for cooking, dreaming of one day owning her own business. Her father, James, taught her that good food brings people together. Now, guests will see where Tiana’s life has taken her after the success of Tiana’s Palace, the restaurant she dreamed of and worked so hard to create.
Tiana’s Next Chapter: Welcome to Tiana’s Foods
Walt Disney Imagineering is crafting an original, next-chapter story for Tiana in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Inside the attraction queue, guests will learn that Tiana has continued to grow her dreams with Tiana’s Foods—an employee-owned cooperative.
Tiana purchased an aging salt mine and the land surrounding a massive salt dome. With help from her mother Eudora, Naveen, Louis, and other cooperative owners, she revitalized the area, growing a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and spices used in her beloved recipes.
The salt mine has been transformed into a vibrant hub complete with a boutique farm, a working kitchen, and a teaching kitchen. Tiana’s Foods now produces an entire line of delicious products, including a brand-new collection of original hot sauces!
Celebrate Mardi Gras with Tiana
To thank her community, Tiana plans a grand Mardi Gras celebration. However, a mix-up with the preparations leads Tiana to invite guests to Tiana’s Foods to help find a missing ingredient crucial to the party’s success.
Visitors will notice Tiana’s vibrant touches throughout the cooperative’s facilities. Art from local artists decorates the walls, crates of beignets are being prepared, and chefs are busy cooking up dishes for the upcoming bayou celebration.
The adventure into the bayou promises appearances by both new characters and familiar faces from the animated film The Princess and the Frog.
A New Era for Tiana at Disney Parks
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially brings Tiana’s story into a new era. A new era at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort in 2024. Picking up where the film left off, Tiana now brings people together through Tiana’s Foods, a treasured gathering place for the community.
She continues to inspire others by teaching gardening and cooking to children and encouraging women to run their own successful businesses as her brand expands across the country.
A Historic Goodbye: Splash Mountain’s Final Chapter
As this exciting new story unfolds, Disney fans also bid farewell to Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World closed forever on January 22, 2023, to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The magic of Tiana’s story lives on, offering guests a new journey filled with music, celebration, and the spirit of community.
