At Destination D23, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro announced exciting news: a new nighttime spectacular, “Luminous The Symphony of Us,” will debut at Epcot on December 5, 2023. The show will feature fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects, and music, continuing Epcot’s tradition of stunning nighttime entertainment.
Figment Meet and Greet Starts September 10
Starting September 10, guests can meet Figment inside the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot. This beloved purple dragon will spark creativity and inspire imagination. Fans visiting Epcot Destination D23 will not want to miss this highly anticipated meet and greet.
World Celebration Neighborhood Welcomes Guests This December
This December, World Celebration will officially open at Epcot, completing the park’s multi-year transformation. The new neighborhood will tie together World Discovery and World Nature, creating lush green spaces, gathering areas, and inspiring connections for guests.
Test Track Reimagining Looks to the Future
Disney Imagineers announced that Test Track will be reimagined in partnership with Chevrolet. Drawing inspiration from the original World of Motion, the reimagined attraction promises to embrace an optimistic spirit of innovation and progress. Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana Opens October 16
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, will officially open on October 16, 2023. This interactive walk-through experience in World Nature invites guests to play with water and explore its journey through the natural world. On the same day, Moana will debut in her own dedicated meet-and-greet area near the attraction.
