Our Friends at D23 just published a list of 10 Disney Movies to “FALL” in love with! All of them are available on Disney+; we included the links. This is the original article, with links.
As the leaves turn to gold and the air grows crisp, there’s nothing quite like a cozy Disney movie marathon to set the perfect fall vibe. Whether you’re craving heartwarming stories or adventure-filled tales with a touch of whimsy, these 10 films bring the magic of autumn right to your living room.
Bambi (1942) Few movies capture the natural beauty of the changing seasons quite like Bambi. This classic tale brings viewers into the forest, where friendships form and life lessons unfold amid breathtaking autumn landscapes. It’s a reminder of the delicate balance of nature, with scenes that range from playful to profound.
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) Ready for a classic Halloween watch? (It’s not too late!) The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad combines the thrill of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow with a lively adaptation of The Wind in the Willows. With its spooky, fog-covered scenes and mischievous storytelling, this double feature is a must for an autumn night.
The Fox and the Hound (1981) Nothing says autumn like a nostalgic tale of friendship—and The Fox and the Hound delivers that in the most touching way. Against a backdrop of changing leaves and woodland scenes, this story explores the bittersweet reality of growing up and the loyalty that can transcend even the deepest divides. Be prepared for some tears and a reminder of life’s most cherished bonds.
James and the Giant Peach (1996) For a whimsical, slightly eerie tale, James and the Giant Peach serves up a mix of adventure and autumnal wonder. The film takes viewers on an imaginative journey from the bleakness of James’s life to the warmth of camaraderie and courage. Packed with stop-motion charm, this story feels like biting into a juicy, fall-spiced peach pie.
Pooh’s Grand Adventure (1997) Autumn is about getting lost and finding yourself again, and Pooh’s Grand Adventure is the epitome of this cozy, heartfelt experience. Following Pooh and his friends set out to rescue Christopher Robin, it’s a warm hug of a film—full of fall leaves and the sweetest honey pots.
Enchanted (2007) Enchanted takes fairy tale magic and brings it into the real world, perfect for a whimsical fall escape. As Giselle (Amy Adams) transitions from an animated wonderland to bustling New York City, she navigates romance and adventure with an autumn-in-the-city vibe. It’s a love letter to classic Disney stories, with a modern twist to keep you enchanted all season long.
Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) Quirky, charming, and full of fall-hued visuals, Fantastic Mr. Fox is a delightfully witty adventure. With director Wes Anderson’s signature style and a story of cleverness, community, and courage, this film serves up a feast of fall scenery.
Brave (2012) Set in the rugged, misty Highlands, Brave is a perfect pick for those crisp, blustery fall days. Merida’s (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) journey of bravery and self-discovery is one of magic, mystery, and the feeling of an ancient world brought to life. With sweeping landscapes and a story that celebrates the strength of family, this film is as fierce and powerful as the changing winds.
Into the Woods (2014) When autumn brings the promise of adventure, Into the Woods weaves together classic fairy tales with a darkly enchanting twist. The film’s forest setting is as tangled and alluring as its musical storytelling, with a haunting reminder that every wish comes with a price. It’s the perfect film for those who crave magic with a hint of mystery.
Coco (2017) Fall is all about celebrating family and traditions, and Coco beautifully captures this spirit. With vibrant visuals set against the colorful Día de los Muertos, this film invites you into a heartfelt adventure about the power of music, memory, and love. It’s a story that will make you laugh, cry, and feel eternally connected to the ones who came before.

You’ll soon walk in a winter wonderland because gingerbread season is upon us! In just a few short weeks, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will be home to some dazzling creations for the holiday season. These gingerbread displays have become a yuletide tradition for the entire family, and for a good reason. They are masterfully brought to life by the talented bakery teams following months of hard work and artistry.
This year, some new and returning creations get you in the holiday spirit with a Disney touch. This year, EPCOT will welcomeGingerbread Spaceship Earth, modeled after the iconic attraction. Returning to Walt Disney World is the adorable Life-Size Baby Gingerbread Giraffe and Baby Zebra at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. And what holiday season at Disneyland Resort would be complete without the Haunted Mansion Holidaydisplay nestled within the mansion itself!
EPCOT will be home to a brand-new creation starting November 29 – Gingerbread Spaceship Earth. This offering in CommuniCore Hall will feature Spaceship Earth in gingerbread form. The EPCOT Festival Team and Walt Disney Imagineering have teamed up with the talented EPCOT Pastry team to create this 8-foot-tall gingerbread display, which took over 160 hours. It even will light up and dance to music throughout the day.
The sphere itself is made up of almost a thousand handcrafted gingerbread triangles to mirror the iconic attraction. There are 240 pounds of honey dough, 100 eggs, 100 ounces lebkuchen spice, 55 pounds dark chocolate, and 100 pounds royal icing. For a final Disney touch, there are 11 hidden Mickeys to represent the 11 countries of the World Showcase.
Back for its fourth year, the Life-Size Baby Gingerbread Giraffe and Baby Zebra displays will be trekking into the lobby of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge starting November 24. This adorable creation features Ginger, the baby giraffe – or rather a ginger-affe – along with Debra, the baby zebra. These life-sized displays stand nearly 7 feet tall and are brought to life by the incredibly talented Animal Kingdom Lodge bakery team with a combination of gingerbread, sugar dough, and modeling chocolate. New this year, there is a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament inspired by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge available for purchase.

This year, we’re celebrating 25 sweet years of the beloved Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Starting November 6, the iconic house that smells as good as it looks will be available for guests to bask in the holiday festivities. As you explore the various details of this incredible display, you’ll find white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and an 88-pound white chocolate Santa. The gingerbread itself is baked with 1050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and 600 pounds of confectioners’ sugar. The decorations feature 700 pounds of chocolate and feature over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread – yes, you heard that right. The team spend over 500 hours baking the gingerbread and 480 hours bringing all the dazzling details to life. To celebrate the 25 years of holiday tradition, there are 25 hidden Mickeys scattered throughout. See how many you can find; our friends at Fantasy Land News found them all!
There will also be a limited-edition collection of 25th anniversary merchandise including a pin, ornament, cookie jar, magnet, tumbler, t-shirt, and more available for purchase to commemorate your holiday memories.

With the holidays just around the corner, I’ve been counting down the days that I can jump into the winter festivities! Luckily with Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopening November 4, there are going to be even more ways to have frosted fun under the Florida sun. Few places can bring to life a melting ski resort with immersive theming other than Walt Disney World, and the water park brings together family-friendly experiences and thrilling water attractions.
It’s “snow-joke’’ that there is a lot to do at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, but here are seven ways I can’t wait to warm up my winter.
1. Experience the Thrill
You might think The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is the only way to drop several stories at Walt Disney World, but Summit Plummet is one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-fall waterslides that sends riders 12 stories almost straight down, rocketing through a darkened tunnel and into a massive spray of whitewater.
2. Frozen Fun for Families
Looking for fun with the little tikes? For the first time in what feels like forever, the beloved characters from “Frozen’’ are inviting kids under four feet tall to step into their own “Frozen’’ adventure while enjoying water fun at Tike’s Peak. Roam across wading pools featuring whimsical depictions of Olaf and his Snowgie pals, engage in playful battles with pop-up water jets at Anna and Elsa’s igloo fortress, and go down slides designed just for them.
3. Teamboat Springs Thrills
Enjoy the perfect thrill for everyone on Teamboat Springs. This unpredictable family raft ride offers a wild journey through twists and turns, navigating one of the longest waterslides in the world. It’s a must-ride for anyone seeking unforgettable memories with family and friends.
4. Relax on Cross Country Creek
For those looking to unwind, Cross Country Creek offers a peaceful float along the 3,000-foot lazy river, winding through the park’s scenic landscapes.
5. Indulge in New Menu Items
Indulge your taste buds with brand-new menu items that bring both savory and sweet flavors. At Warming Hut, guests will find lunch and dinner options, including the new barbecue pork sandwich with bacon and fried onion straws on a brioche bun. Sweet treats throughout the day include comfort flavors at Icee Expeditions with the new apple pie churro and praline sundae. For those already in the holiday spirit, the premium peppermint shake at Lotta Watta features a vanilla and chocolate milkshake with peppermint beverage syrup whipped cream, a brownie, and a cherry on top.
6. Float in Melt-Away Bay
Experience relaxation in the heated one-acre wave pool, Melt-Away Bay. Float on inner tubes or splash around as gentle waves lap the shore. Mount Gushmore’s waterfalls create short, relaxing swells—ideal for lounging or swimming out to rocky outcrops to enjoy a refreshing waterfall.
7. Enjoy Repeat Visits
Come back to the water parks again and again through May 23, 2025 with the Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass. This limited-time special offer is back at only $79 plus tax, and allows you to discover even more ways to combine snow and sun through winter and into next year!
One of my favorite parts about living in Florida is that fun in the sun is possible throughout the year, and this may be one of my favorite ways to experience a “snowy” winter day with my friends and family! Plus, 2025 travelers staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can start their stay with a Water Park day with admission included on their check-in day, making it easier than ever to visit one of the incredible Disney Water Parks. Hope to catch you out there on the slopes!
November marks the beginning of National Veterans and Military Families Month, a celebration established in 1996 to honor the extraordinary service and sacrifice of those who served in the U.S. military and their families. Building upon Disney’s long-standing admiration for military service, we are excited to share that a new collection of our military-inspired merchandise has arrived at select locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort while supplies last. The collection this year consists of four items, including a T-shirt, a Spirit Jersey, a water bottle, and a baseball cap.
Each item features the beloved “Mickeyflage,” a specially designed camouflage pattern by Disney that integrates hidden Mickeys throughout for an extra touch of Disney magic. Our unique military-inspired merchandise line is one of the many ways we continue to recognize and salute the military heroes who have given so much in service to our country.
This collection is available at select locations, including Emporium at Magic Kingdom, Creations Shop at EPCOT, Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, World of Disney at Disney Springs in Florida, Emporium at Disneyland Park, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure Park and World of Disney at Downtown Disney in California. Theme Park admission and park reservation is required for park entry.
Disney has had a long history of respect for military service members, veterans and their families dating back to the founding of our company more than 100 years ago, and that tradition continues today. Since 2012, Disney has contributed more than $20 million in funding and media support to nonprofit organizations that focus on bringing joy to veterans and military families. Please join us in thanking all veterans and their families this month!
Seasons eatings! The holidays bring us all together and this couldn’t be more true than with Disney Festival of Holidays at Disneyland Resort. This joyous occasion, held from Nov. 15, 2024, through Jan. 6, 2025, celebrates a diverse season of celebrations in Southern California. The limited-time menu items highlight a range of holiday festivities, including Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day!
The culinary teams have drawn inspiration from these merriments to create a variety of sips and bites that will transport you on a festive foodie adventure. The new Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron and Al Pastor Pork & Pineapple Slider are a must-try, with returning favorites like the Mickey-shaped Gingerbread Cookie back to dazzle your taste buds.
Be sure to check out Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, a festive celebration to get you in the holiday spirit with live music, merry decor, daily crafts, and, our course, specialty dishes. To see what other yuletide selections are coming to Disneyland Resort this season, check out the Foodie Guide!
