Director James Cameron and producer Jon Landau worked closely with Walt Disney Imagineering to develop early renderings, models, and plans. Construction officially began in January 2014, with the distinctive features of Pandora—including its breathtaking floating mountains—taking shape under the careful guidance of Imagineers.
