Demigods took center stage at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, where Disney+ delivered exciting updates for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The Hall H panel overflowed with stars, surprises, and a thrilling look ahead for the hit Disney+ series.
Season 2 Premiere Date Announced
In a surprise video message, executive producer and author Rick Riordan confirmed that Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere on December 10, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. The new season adapts The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Riordan’s bestselling series.
After the events of Season 1, Camp Half-Blood faces a serious threat. Percy Jackson sets sail into the Sea of Monsters to rescue Grover and recover the legendary Golden Fleece. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse, and his newly discovered cyclops half-brother, Tyson, Percy must confront monsters, battle the rising forces of Luke and Kronos, and protect Olympus.

Tyson and New Characters Revealed
Hall H attendees got a first look at Tyson, a fan-favorite cyclops and Percy’s half-brother, in an exclusive teaser. This early footage revealed the emotional and mythological weight Tyson brings to the season.

The panel also introduced new cast members for Season 3. Levi Chrisopulos will portray Nico di Angelo, while Olive Abercrombie will appear as Bianca di Angelo. Chrisopulos joins as a series regular, and Abercrombie takes on a recurring role. Production for the third season is starting soon.

The Comic-Con presentation featured the series leads: Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase), Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood), Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan), Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse La Rue) and Daniel Diemer (Tyson).
