Originally aired as part of The Wonderful World of Disney on November 20, 1977. Some consider the Mickey Mouse Club of the 1970s the “Lost Club” with many pointing to the Original 1950s version and the version from the late 90s that gave produced multiple stars. This special featured the Mickey Mouse Club of the 1970s and was Lisa Whelchel’s first TV appearance, she was later known as “Blair” on the facts of life. While the club members were able to generate drama, with a storyline that includes a heartbroken Mouseketeer who runs away in the Magic Kingdom, the real star of the show is Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, when Walt Disney World was The Magic Kingdom (The only park)
