TRON Lightcycle Dedication Ceremony Highlights
The celebration unfolded in front of the attractionโs glowing entrance. Walt Disney World Ambassadors Ali Manion and Raevon Redding hosted the event. TRON film icons Bruce Boxleitner and Cindy Morgan joined the festivities, adding nostalgic charm. Mickey and Minnie also arrived in dazzling TRON-inspired suits, adding a bit of magic to the moment.

Unlike a typical dedication, this ceremony blended live performance with digital flair. A marching band kicked off the party. Then Disney leaders stepped in to reflect on TRONโs journeyโfrom a 1982 film to a high-speed coaster launching in Tomorrowland.
After the speeches, the TRON Lightcycle / Run marquee ignited with bright blue energy. As Team Blue officially joined the Grid, cheers echoed through the crowd. This dazzling moment confirmed the rideโs place in Magic Kingdom history.
