Make-A-Wish Guests Celebrate Journey of Water at Epcot
The grand opening of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is just days away, and guests are already celebrating this magical new addition at Epcot. To mark the occasion, special wayfinders from Florida and beyond were invited to explore the Make-A-Wish Journey of Water event before its official debut on Oct. 16.


Orange County Mayor Joins Boys & Girls Clubs for a Sneak Peek
Students from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida enjoyed interactive moments at Journey of Water, from creating waves to making music with water. Walt Disney Imagineers shared insights with the students about how they designed the lush landscape and interactive features.
Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, once a Boys & Girls Clubs member himself, joined the students and emphasized the importance of water conservation. โDisney is helping teach visitors about protecting our environment, here in Florida and globally,โ he shared.

A Make-A-Wish Dream Comes True with Moana
Nine-year-old Carter, a Make-A-Wish recipient from Maine, became the first guest to meet Moana at her new Epcot greeting location. Carterโs Make-A-Wish Journey of Water dream came true as he explored the attraction with Imagineers and his family. His visit included magical moments across all four theme parks and a stay with Give Kids The World Village.
