Following the success of Kim Possible’s World Showcase Adventure, Disney Imagineers introduced an exciting new overlay, giving Epcot’s interactive scavenger hunt a Phineas and Ferb-inspired twist. Enter Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, where guests became secret agents to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plans while exploring Epcot’s World Showcase.
From Kim Possible to Agent P

While the Field Operative Notification Equipment (FONE) remained the same, the storyline was completely reimagined. Instead of battling Drakken and Shego, guests now joined the OWCA (Organization Without a Cool Acronym), assisting Agent P (Perry the Platypus) in his fight against Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
The Agent P adventure took guests on interactive missions throughout seven World Showcase pavilions, including Mexico, France, Germany, Norway, China, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Each mission included nine to twelve interactive elements, engaging guests in solving clues and activating hidden props.
Becoming a Secret Agent
To start the mission, guests visited a recruitment station on the bridge between Future World and World Showcase or various locations within World Showcase. After signing up, players received their FONE device and were assigned a mission in one of the designated countries.

Each interactive experience was seamlessly integrated into the existing pavilion architecture. With props coming to life through special effects, animations, and cast member interactions. The storyline cleverly followed the Phineas and Ferb formula. As the duo embarked on a fun adventure, Candace tried to “bust” them, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz hatched his latest “inator”.
The United Kingdom Mission
One of the most memorable missions took place in the United Kingdom, featuring a golf tournament storyline. Here, Dr. Doofenshmirtz entered the tournament in hopes of winning a lifetime supply of spiky golf shoes (to step all over Perry the Platypus). Guests had to stop him using gadgets, puzzles, and an interactive final showdown.

Interactive Fun with High Replay Value
Unlike traditional attractions, Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure was designed for repeat play. Each country offered different missions and randomized sequences, making the experience unique every time. The final showdown, however, remained consistent across playthroughs.
For families, this was an excellent way to explore Epcot’s World Showcase. Especially for parents who could sit back with a drink or a snack while kids played.
The End of an Era
After years of thrilling guests, Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure closed to make way for a new Duck Tales interactive experience. While its time has passed, its legacy remains a highlight of Epcot’s history of interactive storytelling.
