Happy HalloWishes – Halloween Fireworks at Magic Kingdom 2013

Continuing the Halloween fun from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party& Villains Mix and Mingle, this SamsDisneyDiary is all about Happy HalloWishes, the exclusive nighttime fireworks spectacular presented during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World.

As you’d expect, HalloWishes delivers big-time thrills. The fireworks light up the night sky above Cinderella Castle, synchronized to a villainous soundtrack featuring the voices of Disney’s most notorious baddies. The result? A spooky, high-energy show that surrounds the park with color and sound.

Don’t Miss the Perimeter Fireworks

One of the most memorable elements of Happy HalloWishes is the use of perimeter fireworks, which launch all around the Magic Kingdom. These immersive effects are only used during special events like this, adding even more magic to the Halloween celebration.

For the best viewing experience, stand near Casey’s Corner, just left of the castle hub. That’s where our video was filmed, and you’ll get a full view of both the castle projections and fireworks spread across the sky.

Timing Is Everything

HalloWishes is typically shown once per night, usually around 9:30 p.m., between the two parades. Unlike the Boo-to-You Parade or Villains Mix & Mingle, there’s only one chance to see the show each evening—so don’t miss it!

For those with little ones, a great strategy is to watch the 8:15 parade, catch the 8:50 Villains Mix & Mingle, then stay right in the hub for the 9:30 fireworks. After that, it’s time for Trick-or-Treating or a quick ride on a favorite attraction with minimal wait.

If your crew are night owls, reverse the order: start with attractions and characters, then grab a spot for HalloWishes at 9:30, Mix & Mingle at 10:05, and the second parade at 10:30—less crowded and more relaxed.

Plan Your Night Around the Show

With party admission, you can enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. A dining reservation between 4:15 and 4:45 p.m. works perfectly so you’re ready to enjoy the party from the start. Head straight to your must-see character meet-and-greet at 7:00, then let HalloWishes anchor your night.
