A Holiday Tradition Returns to Paradise Bay
World of Color – Season of Light debuted during the 2016 holiday season at Disney California Adventure, bringing festive cheer to Paradise Bay through dazzling fountains, soaring music, and magical projections.
A Celebration of Friendship, Love, and Light
This seasonal version of World of Color weaves classic Disney and Pixar stories into a celebration of the season. Scenes from Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Toy Story, and Inside Out dance across a towering wall of mist and light.
The 2016 show included a heartwarming soundtrack with holiday favorites. Including Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Let It Snow, and Feliz Navidad. A standout moment? Goofy’s wild light display set to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards in Winter”—a fan favorite and an unexpected twist in the festive lineup.
Visual Wonder at Paradise Pier
Featuring more than 18,000 square feet of shimmering water projections, Season of Light fills the night sky with snowflakes, lasers, music, and joy. The ambiance is further enhanced by the glowing backdrop of Mickey’s Fun Wheel, perfectly synchronized with the music.
