Roy Disney outlines the Walt Disney World Resort, Phase 1 at a Florida Press Conference in 1968. After that press conference Don Tatum, Vice President of Disney Productions introduced participating sponsors to the new project with this Project Florida video presentation. The video starts with “Today: Disneyland and the New York World Fair, tomorrow a project so vast, it has already been called a whole new Disney World. The video features a video of Walt Disney himself. The video is followed by a presentation from US Steel corporation president on the company’s involvement in the project, which will eventually become knows as the Contemporary Resort.
