The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60 celebrated the 60th anniversary of Disneyland, it aired on ABC on February 21, 2016. The special was largely broadcast from the Hollywood Highland Center. It event was a star-studded evening celebrating Disneyland with a tribute to the original “Wonderful World of Disney” opening. The special was introduced by Derek Hough and Witney Carson, of dancing with the Stars, and featured the premiere of the Pete’s Dragon live-action trailer.
Performances include Pentatonix, The Sugarhill Gang, Kelsea Ballerini, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo, Dick van Dyke, Elton John, Idina Manzel, Harrison Ford, Star Wars in Concert, Tori Kell with Kermit the Frog, Little Big Town, Whoopi Goldberg, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, and John Lasseter.
