The first of many annual Walt Disney World Happy Easter Parade television specials aired on ABC on April 7, 1985. Rick Dees and Joan Lunden hosted the First Disney Easter Parade. In 1986, the Walt Disney World Easter Parade appeared as part of The CBS Easter Parade (March 30, 1986), which switched between the Walt Disney World Parade and one on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The 1988 parade was hosted by Joan Lunden, Alan Thicke, and Regis Philbin. The telecasts continued for 15 years until 1999. The final installment of the parade was hosted by Caroline Rhea and D.L. Hughley. We broke out our VCR, converted what we could, and have them all here for you to enjoy.
