With Epcot continuing its historic transformation, one of the most flavorful additions debuted with the opening of Connections Café and Eatery. This all-new quick-service dining destination brings guests into the heart of World Celebration with an inviting space designed for relaxation, conversation, and delicious food. And on opening day, we had a chance to speak with the chef behind it all.
Culinary Art Meets International Inspiration
More than just a place to grab a bite, Connections Café is a tribute to global cuisine and Disney’s heritage of storytelling through food. Guests can enjoy a Starbucks beverage at Connections Café or indulge in globally inspired dishes from Connections Eatery next door.
What immediately stands out is the 160-foot-long hand-painted mural along the back wall. It tells the story of how food is cultivated across cultures and continents, all woven together with vibrant colors and intricate detail. The mural reinforces the idea that food connects us all—an ideal that fits perfectly with Epcot’s vision.
