Born in 1972 in Olympia, Washington, Trevor Carlton began his artistic journey with a passion for acting, studying at the Lee Strasberg Acting Workshop in Los Angeles. While pursuing acting, he developed a love for artistic techniques while working at a custom furniture store specializing in antiquing and faux finishes. This background influenced his now-signature distressed, vintage style.
Carlton’s artwork, often featuring Disney characters, blends a nostalgic feel with modern energy. Using faux wood finishes and sandpaper techniques, he creates pieces that evoke memories of the past while feeling fresh and alive.
Live Painting at Epcot
At the 2023 Festival of the Arts, Trevor Carlton took to the World Showcase Plaza stage for his “Art in Performance” shows. With energetic music blasting, guests watched as Carlton transformed blank canvases into vivid Disney masterpieces—live and in minutes!
