Our hosts Joan Lunden and Regis Philbin kick off the festivities on Christmas Morning 1993 with not one, but two parades from Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, The Very Merry Christmas Parade, and from Disney MGM Studios, the Aladdin Royal Caravan.
Joining Joan and Regis is a correspondent in each park; Kathy Lee Gifford brings us the Aladdin Royal Caravan and a look at how movies are made at Disney MGM Studios. Bill Nye the Science Guy is at “Disney’s Everchanging World’s Fair of the Future” EPCOT94. Bill shows us “Virtual Vision Goggles”, one of the new discoveries you’ll find at the new Innoventions opening next summer, and gives us an inside look at the new attraction. Robbie Benson checks in from Main Street USA. Santa’s Elves are taking some much-deserved time off at Typhoon Lagoon. Regis gives us a sneak peek at the planned Twilight Zone Tower of Terror coming to the Disney MGM Studios. The Magic World of Barbie is new and part of EPCOT94, and we get a peek at the action from EPCOT. John Davidson closes the show with a special Christmas performance from EPCOT.
