Bluey is about to become one of Walt Disney World’s biggest family draws. Beginning May 26, 2026, Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The new experience brings Bluey, Bingo, playful games, bubbles, Australian animals, themed food, PhotoPass Magic Shots, and a virtual queue. Of course it does.
When Bluey arrived at Disneyland earlier this spring, Disney had to adjust the experience to help manage the demand. That was the first clue that Bluey was not going to be a casual character add-on. She was going to be a crowd magnet.
We covered that Disneyland debut in Bluey’s Best Day Ever Brings Bluey to Disneyland March 22, and the takeaway still matters here. Bluey is not just popular with kids. She is appointment-level popular with families.
So, how does Walt Disney World handle that at Animal Kingdom? A virtual queue. That single detail says a lot about what Disney expects when Bluey and Bingo arrive.
Bluey’s Wild World Opens May 26
Bluey’s Wild World opens at Conservation Station inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26. The experience is part of Walt Disney World’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, but Disney says Bluey will stick around beyond the summer season.
That is good news for families who may not be visiting right away. Instead of a quick limited-time appearance, Disney is giving Bluey and Bingo a more complete home inside the park. The experience includes music, movement, games, and animal connections that fit Animal Kingdom better than a simple meet-and-greet would.
The Experience take place at Conservation Station, Plan accordingly.
Here is the planning detail families need to know first. Bluey’s Wild World is located at Conservation Station. To get there, guests must take the Wildlife Express Train from the station near Harambe Market in Africa.
That makes this different from meeting a character on Discovery Island or walking into a show near the front of the park. You need to plan extra time. The train ride, boarding process, walking path, experience time, and return trip can easily turn this into a larger part of your Animal Kingdom day. That is not a bad thing, but families should not treat Bluey as a quick five-minute stop.
How the Bluey Virtual Queue Works
When Bluey’s Wild World opens, it will use a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app. During the initial opening period, a standby queue will not be available. Disney expects to add one later. Guests will need to join the virtual queue to experience Bluey’s Wild World, the Wildlife Express Train, Jumping Junction, and the Animal Care offerings at Conservation Station.
There are two daily opportunities:
- 7:00 a.m. Valid admission is required. If your ticket type requires a theme park reservation, that reservation must be for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You do not need to be inside the park for the 7:00 a.m. drop.
- 10:00 a.m. Valid admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom is required. You must be inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom to join this drop.
If Bluey is a must-do for your family, set that alarm and make the virtual queue your first priority that morning.
Think of it like Disney admitting what parents already know. Bluey is huge. Rather than letting a standby line swallow half the day, Disney is organizing demand from the start.
Bluey and Bingo Bring the Games
Bluey’s Wild World is built around play. Disney says families can expect familiar music, movement, and games inspired by the show. Bluey and Bingo will appear as part of the experience, with activities tied to fan-favorite moments like Keepy Uppy and Magic Asparagus.
That approach makes sense. Bluey works because the show understands family play. The best episodes turn ordinary moments into imaginative adventures. So, this experience should feel more like stepping into Bluey’s style of play than simply standing in line for a photo.
The finale includes a bubble celebration with the Heeler sisters, which sounds exactly right for younger fans.
Jumping Junction Adds Real Australian Animals
Animal Kingdom is also connecting Bluey to her home country. At Jumping Junction, guests will be able to see kangaroos and wallabies in a new shared habitat. That is one of the smartest parts of this addition.
Bluey could have gone into almost any Disney park as a character experience. Instead, Animal Kingdom is using the setting to add an educational layer. Kids can play with Bluey and Bingo, then learn about animals from Australia.
Wallabies and kangaroos are both marsupials. Their babies, called joeys, continue developing in the mother’s pouch after birth. Kangaroos are generally larger, while wallabies are usually smaller. Groups of both animals are called mobs.
That gives families a natural conversation after the experience. Bluey gets kids excited, and Animal Kingdom turns that excitement into curiosity about real animals.
Bluey Food Arrives Around the Park
Disney is also adding Bluey-inspired food and drinks around Animal Kingdom.
At Pizzafari, guests can find Fairy Bread Cake, a vanilla birthday cake dipped in white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles with raspberry dipping sauce.
Pizzafari will also serve Wackadoo Fruit Freeze, inspired by Bluey’s beloved fruit salad. It is made with Simply Fruit Punch and garnished with fruit salad.
The Bluey Sipper will also be available with a fountain beverage. Disney notes a limit of two per person, per transaction, while supplies last.
Bluey’s Berry Lemonade blends frozen Minute Maid Lemonade with blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry flavors. It will be available at Pizzafari and Eight Spoon Café.
The food lineup is not huge, but it is enough to turn Bluey into a park-wide mini hunt for families.
PhotoPass Magic Shots Add More Bluey Fun
Disney PhotoPass is joining the celebration with three Bluey-themed Magic Shots. Photographers will offer them at the entrance to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and near Discovery River on the pathway between Africa and Asia.
The Magic Shots include Janet and Rita joining your photo, Flappy and Bluey for a butterfly Keepy Uppy moment, and Dance Mode with Bluey and Bingo. These are smart additions because they spread the Bluey fun beyond Conservation Station. Even families who miss the virtual queue may still find a way to bring Bluey into their Animal Kingdom day.
Bluey Merchandise and Family Essentials
Bluey merchandise will be available in two Animal Kingdom locations: Island Mercantile on Discovery Island and Conservation Station. Items include youth apparel, adult shirts and sweatshirts, a Bluey Walt Disney World T-shirt, and later-summer additions like Bluey and Bingo Create Your Own plush and plush headbands.
Disney will also offer select baby care products at Conservation Station, including diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications, and formula. That baby-care detail is worth noting. Conservation Station is not near the front of the park, so having family essentials available there could help parents spending more time around Bluey’s Wild World.
Why Bluey at Animal Kingdom Is a Big Deal
Bluey is not just another character. For many families with preschool and early elementary-age kids, Bluey is the show. Parents watch it too, often because it speaks to them as much as their children. That gives this arrival a different kind of energy.
This is not nostalgia for adults. It is not a deep-cut Disney character. It is a current, highly active family favorite coming into Walt Disney World at the exact moment many kids are growing up with the Heeler family.
That is why the Disneyland comparison matters. Disney already saw how quickly Bluey could become the center of attention. Now, at Walt Disney World, the company is getting ahead of that demand before opening day.
How I Would Plan a Bluey Day at Animal Kingdom
If Bluey is a top priority, start with the 7:00 a.m. virtual queue attempt. Then build your Animal Kingdom day around your return window once you have it. Because Conservation Station requires the Wildlife Express Train, leave extra time before and after the experience.
I would not stack this too tightly against a dining reservation, stage show, or Lightning Lane return time. After Bluey’s Wild World, slow down and enjoy the rest of Conservation Station. Check out Jumping Junction, look for the animal care windows, and let the kids reset before heading back into the main park.
Then, later in the day, grab a Bluey snack or drink and look for one of the PhotoPass Magic Shots. That turns Bluey from one appointment into a full Animal Kingdom memory.
