Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party is an annual hard ticketed event at Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom.  I covered the party in detail last year in Episode #22, including Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade.  So rather than cover the event again, I thought I’d cover what’s new for 2013.  A few of the new events include:  Cinderella’s Holiday Wish, The Brand New “Jingle Cruise”, and even a look at the “Glow with the Show” Mickey Ears over at the Osborne Lights.

Back in Episode #17 I covered the last “The Magic, The Memories & You”.  That show marked the premiere of the nightly Cinderella Castle projection show.  A projection show that completely engulfed the castle, transforming it into just about anything the Imagineers could think of.  New for the Christmas Party in 2013 is “Celebrate the Magic”.  Seen once a night at 9:15pm, just before the 9:30 Holiday Wishes, “Celebrate the Magic” transforms Cinderella Castle into a canvas of all-inspiring holiday magic.

This episode of SamsDisneyDiary was filmed on the first night of the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2013.
