Disney’s May the 4th Food and Novelty Lineup 2026 Brings New Star Wars Buckets, Sippers, and More

Disney just dropped its May the 4th food lineup for 2026, and this year’s story is not really about the full menu. It is about the novelties.  Yes, there are new snacks and drinks across Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and even Disneyland Paris. However, the biggest draw for many fans will be the collectible popcorn buckets, souvenir sippers, swizzle sticks, and mugs that feel built for Star Wars Day crowds.

That is what makes this year’s guide stand out. It is less about one must-try dessert and more about a full wave of collectible Star Wars food and drink extras that fans will want to track down.

The Real Headliners Are the Buckets and Sippers

The biggest conversation starters in Disney’s May the 4th lineup are the new Star Wars novelties.

Leading the charge is the new Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket, which feels like the kind of collectible fans will be chasing the moment it drops. Disney is also rolling out a new Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket and the new Bantha Sipper, both of which look designed to become instant park-day favorites.

Then there are the rechargeable lightsaber swizzle sticks. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader versions are returning as the kind of smaller novelty that still feels fun, practical, and very easy for fans to justify picking up.

For collectors, this is the real hook of the guide. These items give the event a stronger identity than a long list of themed snacks ever could.

Hollywood Studios Gets the Best Walt Disney World Hook

At Walt Disney World, Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets the strongest push.

The most notable addition may be Pink Milk finally arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, giving Walt Disney World guests another piece of the Galaxy’s Edge drink lineup to talk about. That alone gives this year’s guide a little more weight than a normal seasonal food post.

There are also a few new limited-time drinks and sweets that help round things out, including the Roaring Loth-Cat, Three Suns Over Batuu, Kerkoiden Blue Cake, and the Your Chosen Path Cupcake with its hidden lightsaber-color reveal.

Those items are fun. Still, the bigger draw is how they support the larger Star Wars Day atmosphere rather than trying to carry the whole event on their own.

Oga’s and Galaxy’s Edge Fans Have Plenty to Watch

For Star Wars fans who love the world-building side of Galaxy’s Edge, some of the more interesting additions are the themed beverage tie-ins and souvenir vessels.

The Kamino Cooler served in a DJ R-3X souvenir mug stands out right away. It feels like the kind of novelty drink Disney knows fans will photograph as much as they drink. That same idea carries through the rest of the guide. Disney is clearly leaning into themed presentation, not just themed flavor.

That is smart for May the 4th. Fans want something memorable, something collectible, and something that feels tied to the land itself.

Not Every New Item Needs to Be the Story

There are enough new food items here to keep the guide from feeling thin, but not every item needs equal attention.

The Bright Suns Chocolate Mousse at Disney Springs looks like one of the stronger non-park additions. Across the Stars Ganache Bars also feel like a creative nod to Star Wars worlds without becoming overly complicated. Over in Disneyland Paris, the Grogu Burger and Grogu’s Blue Macaron add a fun international twist.

Still, the overall novelty of this year’s guide is not the burger or the cupcake. It is the fact that Disney clearly understands what fans want from May the 4th: themed collectibles, themed vessels, and a few photogenic snacks to go with them.

Sam’s Disney Diary Take

Disney’s May the 4th lineup is at its best when it stops trying to be a food list and starts acting like an event guide.

The real stars are the novelty items. Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket, the Bantha Sipper, the Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket, and the DJ R-3X mug are the pieces fans will remember. The snacks and drinks help, but the collectibles are what make this year feel different.

For Star Wars fans, that is probably exactly the right call.
