Disney has a lot to celebrate in 2026. Cars is marking its 20th anniversary. Stitch is ready for another 626 Day on June 26. Toy Story 5 has arrived in theaters, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame is celebrating 30 years.
Now, Topps is bringing much of that Disney calendar together in one release. The new 2026 Topps Chrome Disney collection is more than another character card set. It is a 200-card snapshot of Disney, Pixar, Disney Channel, and several major anniversaries.
Disney History Meets a New Collector Release
The 2026 Topps Chrome Disney base set includes characters from across Disney and Pixar history. Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Lightning McQueen, Woody, Jessie, and many more are part of the collection.
The themed inserts add even more depth.
Topps is recognizing several major anniversaries throughout the set. That includes Cars at 20 years, Moana at 10 years, Monsters, Inc. at 25 years, Darkwing Duck at 35 years, Alice in Wonderland at 75 years, Dumbo at 85 years, and Winnie the Pooh at 100 years.
There is also an Art of Disney card tied to the 30th anniversary of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
That makes this more than a release built around one current movie. It moves from Disney’s earliest animated classics to characters who are only now beginning their story.
Cars Turns 20 With Pixar Archive Art
The Cars 20th anniversary cards may be one of the most interesting parts of the collection.
Topps is highlighting previously unreleased development art, concepts, and creative designs from the Pixar archives. Instead of relying only on familiar images of Lightning McQueen, Mater, Sally, and Doc Hudson, the cards look back at the ideas that helped create Radiator Springs.
The insert includes scenes and locations such as Mater meeting Lightning, Sally and Red, Doc Hudson on the track, Cadillac Range, Ornament Valley, and downtown Radiator Springs.
That gives the set a different purpose.
Disney fans have spent two decades watching Radiator Springs grow from a Pixar movie into a full-scale land at Disney California Adventure. Cars Land made that world something guests can walk through, race through, and experience together.
These cards go back to where it began.
Stitch Takes the Spotlight for 626 Day
Stitch is also taking center stage in the 2026 collection.
June 26, better known as 626 Day, has become the fan-fueled celebration of Experiment 626. It has grown into one of Disney’s biggest character holidays.
Topps is marking the occasion with a Lilo & Stitch Shadowbox insert. The set features Stitch, Lilo, Jumba, Pleakley, the Grand Councilwoman, and other characters from the original story.
A new Stitch-focused promotional spot also features Tony Hale, the voice of Forky in Toy Story 5.
That makes for a fun Disney-Pixar connection. More importantly, it shows how Stitch remains one of Disney’s most collectible characters.
Last year, Disney used 626 Day to announce a new Lilo & Stitch sequel. This year, Stitch is helping lead one of Topps’ biggest Disney collector releases.
Toy Story 5 Gets New Cards to Chase
The newest chapter of Toy Story is part of the set as well.
The 2026 Topps Chrome Disney base collection includes Woody and Jessie from Toy Story 5. It also introduces first cards for several new characters.
The dedicated Toy Story 5 First Edition insert includes Lilypad, Karen Beverly, Smarty Pants, Atlas, and Hi-Tech Edition Buzz Lightyear. That makes the set a natural companion for fans following Toy Story 5 and its new “Toy meets Tech” storyline. First cards always add interest for collectors. For Disney fans, these characters may help define where the franchise goes next.
The release does not only look back at anniversaries. It also preserves the beginning of a new Disney and Pixar chapter.
Where to Find 2026 Topps Chrome Disney
The 2026 Topps Chrome Disney collection released June 17. Hobby boxes are available through Topps EQL. Value Boxes and Mega Boxes are also available through Topps while supplies last. The Value Box includes eight packs with four cards per pack. It also includes two exclusive RayWave parallels. As with any Chrome release, availability can move quickly. Still, this is a set that works for different kinds of collectors.
Some may chase rare inserts. Others may build the base set. Many will simply search for a favorite character or open a few packs with family.
More Than a Pack of Cards
The strongest part of 2026 Topps Chrome Disney is how much Disney history it brings together.
There are cards for classic animation, the Disney Channel generation, cards for fans who grew up with Lightning McQueen, Stitch, Woody, and Buzz.
There are also cards for stories celebrating major anniversaries beside characters making their first appearance. That makes this release feel less like a simple merchandise drop. It feels more like a Disney collector time capsule. From Radiator Springs to Hawaii, from Notre Dame to Andy’s room, there are plenty of stories to chase.
